CharlieManson.Com Newsletter, May 19, 2002
The following is being sent on behalf of Debra Tate and Chris Simmons. I
believe most readers of this newsletter will find it of interest and may want to
help take action.

Hello,
My name is Christopher Simmons and I am the webmaster of
www.sharontate.net.
As most of you know, in 1969 Sharon Tate and four others were murdered at her
home, by the Charles Manson "Family".
The following night Charles Manson and his gang of killers entered the home of
Leno and Rosemary Labianca and murdered the middle aged couple. They were joined
by Leslie Van Houten who had not gone the first night. Van Houten was well aware
of the events the night before at the Tate-Polanski home, yet she went.
Now Van Houten has a court date to have San Bernardino County Superior Court
Judge Bob N. Krug hear her claim that she is being denied parole by the
California Board of Prison Terms, based on the notoriety of the murders she
participated in. She is scheduled to appear before Krug on May 23rd 2002.
Debra Tate, sister of Sharon Tate, is very concerned that Leslie may gain her
freedom. She opposes the release of any of the Tate-Labianca killers. She feels
that if Leslie Van Houten gains her freedom that it will set a dangerous
precedence not only in California, but in the rest of the world.
What can you do?
Write to the Honorable Bob N. Krug and ask that he not grant Leslie Van Houten
freedom. Leslie Van Houten robbed her victims of their freedom to live their
life. Why should she be given any more consideration?
The address for Judge Bob N. Krug is
351 North Arrowhead Avenue
San Bernardino CA 92415-0240
The phone number for his office is (909) 387-3985. They may be able to give you
a fax number where you could fax your letter.
Time is of the essence at this point. Those letters need to be in to Judge Krug
before he hears Leslie's case. If you can find the time and find it in your
heart to aide the victims of this crime, please go to your post office and send
a priority mail letter to Judge Krug. If you are in the US and do it tomorrow it
should get to him on time.
Let's show Judge Krug that we don't believe that a sociopath like Leslie Van
Houten is ever rehabilitated and that she does not deserve to walk free among
the rest of us.
Sincerely,
Christopher Lee Simmons
