This was the site of hearings for Manson Family members
following the Barker Ranch raids.
The above photo is the Winnedumah Hotel in Independence.
Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi stayed here when he first went to Inyo County
to investigate the Manson Family while they were being held there
following the Barker Ranch raids.
