Darwin Scott was the brother of Charles Manson's biological father, Colonel
Scott.
This murder has been mentioned in various books because a group was in the
area that some claimed was the Manson Family. It apparently wasn't them,
though.
No photos have ever surfaced of Manson's father, but this article shows his
uncle.
Various books have stated that Colonel Scott may have
been African American.
It is obvious that his brother, Darwin, was not. Also, a friend of the
Scott
family has told me that Colonel wasn't African American.
I traveled to Ashland around 1990 to get this article and drive past
the crime site.
