1960 (est) Charles Luther Manson (son of Manson and Leona) was possibly born.
1960, February 19 Leno A. LaBianca (34) and Rosemary Struthers (32) were married.
1960, June 1 Manson was arrested in Laredo, Texas for pimping.
1960, June 23 Manson was returned to jail for violating his probation.
1960, October Jay Sebring married Cami.  She was 17.  He was about 27.
1960 Cami and Jay Sebring bought house on Easton for $50,000.  Another source says it was rented, instead.
1961, February 21 Donald J. "Shorty" Shea married.
1961, July Manson was sent to United States Penitentiary at McNeil Island, Washington.  Claimed Scientology as his religion.
1961 Bruce Davis attended college in Knoxville, Tennessee.
1961 Birth of Manson's half-sister.
1961, December 21 Abigail Folger's coming out party in San Francisco.
1962 Roman Polanski divorced from Barbara Lass.

1963, April 10 Manson divorced from Leona in Denver, Colorado.  Apparently they had a son named Charles Luther Manson.

1963 Sharon Tate auditioned for "Petticoat Junction."
1963, August Jay and Cami Sebring separated.
1963 Bruce Davis returned to California but left and returned to Tennessee.

1966, June Manson was returned to Terminal Island for release purposes.

1967, July 28 Manson was arrested and gave his name as Charles Willis Manson for first time.
1967, August 12 Clem Grogan arrested for shoplifting.
1967 Charles Watson enrolled at California State College in Los Angeles.  Never took a class.
1967, September (est) William Garretson was arrested for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor in Ohio.  Was with a friend who bought beer for under-aged girls.
1967, September Patricia Krenwinkel left her job, car and apartment to join Manson.
1967, September Paul Watkins returned to high school for his senior year.
1967, September Bruce Davis met Manson.  (according to Howard Davis, this was in Seattle).
1967, September 11 Supposed recording session of Manson which has been released as a bootleg.

1968, January Charles Watson had a car accident in Laurel Canyon.  Injured knee and had operation.
1968, January 20 Tate and Polanski married in London.

1968, April 15 Michael Manson (son of Manson and Brunner) was born in Los Angeles County, California.
1968, April 22 The most famous photo of Manson was taken while being arrested.  The mugshot later became the cover of "Life" magazine in December 1969.
1968, Spring Charles Watson met Manson.
1968, Late Spring Dennis Wilson twice picked up Ella Jo Bailey and Pat Krenwinkel hitchhiking.  The second time, he took them to his 14400 Sunset Boulevard house for two hours.  The girls mostly talked about a guy named Charlie.  When Wilson retuned that night, Manson and about a dozen uninvited people (mostly girls) were in his house.  They stayed for several months and more than doubled in size. The Family met Watson, Watkins and Poston during this phase.

1968, Fall Manson Family first appeared in Barker Ranch/Death Valley area.

1968, October 13 Clida Delaney and Nancy Warren were murdered near Ukiah, CA.  Some believe this was a Manson Family murder.
1968, Late October William Garretson arrived in California with a friend.  They hitchhiked from Ohio to California.
1968, November Leno and Rosemary moved into house he bought from his mother at 3301 Waverly Drive.
1968, November Charles Watson left Family to live with David Lynn Neale but returned to Family.
1968, November 15 Karl Stubbs died in Inyo County at age 80.  Possible Manson Family murder victim.  Pat was questioned about it about a year later.
1968, November Manson was in Goler Wash with Gregg Jakobson a few days before Thanksgiving.
1968, November or December Bruce Davis began working at Scientology headquarters in London.
1968, December Charles Watson quit working on house Manson had asked him to build.
1968, December Manson and three of his female followers spent time with Charlene Cafritz in Reno, Nevada.  Several films were supposedly made.
1968, December The Beatles released "The White Album" which Manson heard in Los Angeles while on a trip from Barker Ranch.
1968, December Bruce Davis supposedly in Berkeley, CA according to one witness.
1968, December 1 Watson's webpage says he and Manson first heard the "White Album" on Topanga Canyon Lane (which is same street the Spiral Staircase was on).
1968, December 2 Charles Watson and David Neale had Army physical.  Watson was unfit but Neale enlisted that same day.  Watson got Neale's car and lived with Neale's brother, Jay.  Waton moved in with Luella (Neale's girlfriend) beside Magic Castle on Sunset.  Watson and Luella dealt drugs.
1968, December 30 Marina Habe was murdered.  Some believe this is a Manson Family murder.
1968, December 31 Manson returned to Death Valley reportedly talking about he significance of "The White Album"
